Rob Machado Foundation
As one of the world’s most recognizable surfers, Rob Machado aims to educate and empower young people to make sustainable choices. The foundation’s programs include providing water filling stations to encourage use of reusables over single-use plastic water bottles; and trash and recycling solutions at beaches, schools, surf events, and local beach clean-ups. San Diego Coastkeeper
The mission of San Diego Coastkeeper is to protect and restore fishable, swimmable and drinkable waters in San Diego County. As a member of the California Coastkeeper Alliance, as well as the International Waterkeeper Alliance, they are involved in nearly 200 programs in keeping waters clean.SDCoastkeeper.org.
With nearly 70 miles of coastline to protect, the San Diego County Chapter is one of the largest and most active chapters in the world. The group’s volunteers work to protect the local oceans, waves, and beaches.SanDiego.Surfrider.org.
