North County Coast

Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside

San Diego County is blessed with thriving communities along our beautiful shorelines. The north county beach cities all have their own distinct personalities. Del Mar is our go to when we want to take our four-legged family to the beach and for going to the Race Track & Fairgrounds for the county fair and horse races. Solana Beach is where we shop and listen to live music. Encinitas calms us down with its gardens and spirit. Carlsbad brings out the kid in us at Legoland and for beach camping fun. Oceanside reminds us of our military heritage, plus a burgeoning craft brewing scene.

Here’s a few highlights of the North County Coast:

You’re got to have tacos for lunch in San Diego, and what better place to savor them than the Taco Stand. First opened in La Jolla, they’re now in Encinitas, as well as Downtown San Diego and North Park. The Taco Stand brings a Tijuana-inspired vibe, serving delectable fare like their popular Al Pastor tacos, or the unique Nopal Taco made with flame-grilled cactus. LetsTaco.com
