Celebrate with Aloha
Roy’s Restaurant brings a taste of aloha to your table, with their adventurous Pacific Rim cuisine. For a casual date night, come by during Aloha Hour for special-priced drinks and bites like the Island Time Sangria and the Lobster Potstickers. For Valentine’s Day, they offer a four-course menu with a wide selection of items, including their famous Misoyaki Butterfish – it melts in your mouth like butter!
Sunsets on the Beach
The Marine Room’s seaside location has been a favorite for couples for over 75 years. Along with their delicious regional inspired cuisine, dining here has become a traditional visit for many. The restaurant plans many special dining events such as Lobster Nights, Cooking Classes with Dinner, High Tide Breakfasts, and the decadent five-course Valentine’s Day menu for $150 per person. Plan it right for sunsets and those high tides, when the waves pound onto the windows only inches away from your table. Exciting!
Walk down the steps to the subterranean eclectic lounge of Vin De Syrah in the Gaslamp Quarter. Upon entering, you will be enthralled by the botanical chandeliers and plush seating rooms. For Valentine’s Day, they will offer a venue-wide special romantic, three-course candlelit wine dinner, paired with three glasses of wine hosted by Vin de Syrah’s in-house Sommelier Brendan. Afterwards, stay and listen to live music by the lovely Cassie B Band. Get lost in the moment, enjoying each other’s company.
End with Breakfast
Fig Tree Café’s Pacific Beach location brings garden-style charm to the area’s seaside enclave. Bring on the morning sweets with Fig Tree’s popular Valentine French Toast, stuffed and topped with fresh raspberries, white chocolate and raspberry sauce, along with one of their specialty Acai, Goji or Mangosteen Antioxidant Mimosas, for a refreshing take on the morning classic with a healthy twist!
